Sam’s Club in Pearl City has an extremely poor pickup service. I’ve done a few pickup services from them and for some reason I don’t know why it takes so long to get orders ready. I placed an order 2 boxes of the recess pieces candies either early morning or early afternoon. I then placed the pickup time at the last option 7-8p. That’s literally 7-8hrs worth of getting the product ready for pickup. I didn’t receive an email or notification to pickup the item until it was 9:30p. How come it takes almost all day to prepare 2 small boxes for pickup. Then I wasn’t able to pickup the candy the following day so I figured I would just go the next day. Only to find out they pretty much hold your order for only one day. Target at least holds your items for a few days before canceling the order. Sam’s Club you only get one day to pickup your items. Not to mention it took them all day to prepare my item for pickup. They even give you a time slot of only an hour to pickup the items. Then when it’s cancelled it takes 10 business days to return your money. Sam’s Club pickup service is absolutely trash. And the parking there is horrendous. All the spaces are so small and it’s dark.

Curbside pick up is terrible . Canceled my order after I had already been waiting. Wish they would of told me ahead of time so I could of went in store to pick it up myself. I know it’s not the workers fault , they may be under staffed definitely frustrating on both ends.

The store itself is great, but curbside pickup spots are very tight and limited. If you’re doing curbside pickup, do not select during the middle of the day (even on weekdays). You’ll still wait about 30 minutes once you get into your pickup spot during peak times. The best times I’ve experienced curbside was at night or as soon as they open. But overall, I prefer this Sam’s!

I’ve been a member of Sam’s club for more than 20 years but lately the quality of their products haven’t been good. Some of the produce really sucks, twice already I’ve bought strawberries and within 24 hours they get moldy and go bad. Same thing with the plum/apricot. Also, those has nothing to do with them but the foster farms brand chicken wings is gross. They still have feathers on them and also some toenail looking thing on the end of the wing. But the worst is the rotisserie chicken. It wasn’t cooked enough it was still pink by the bone. Very disappointing hopefully they make things better.
